Benoît Heggen planted his first vines in his garden in 1995, alongside his apple and pear business, and began producing wine as a challenge. Today, he is one of the most experienced winegrowers in Wallonia. He farms several plots of land in and around his village of Warsage, including Grande Marnière, planted in 2006 at the foot of the fort at Aubin-Neufchâteau. The winemaker produces more reds than whites, with special cuvées depending on the year, and plans to release parcel-based cuvées in the next few years. A new winery was built during the winter of 2020-21.
