Jean Cogolati explains: “I’ve always been fascinated by the culture that surrounds wine, whatever the country or the way it brings people and generations together. I remember, when I was very young, in the hamlet where my parents came from, the fresh smell of wine coming out of the cellar of the local winegrower. My father (Nonno) continued to grow vines wherever he went in Belgium. I wanted to follow in his footsteps, since climate change allows us to do so, by planting a small vineyard bearing his name on the hillsides of Huy.”
