Presenting: winegrower Gellick

In 2016, the new generation of the Nijsthoven family, Karolien, decided to transform part of the former monastery meadow behind their house into a small 360-metre vineyard. At that time, Paul and Mariet also started studying winemaking. In 2018, the vineyard was expanded to 700 vines on a 40-are plot. In 2019, the first wine was bottled. Once the technique is mastered, the family hopes to make a sparkling wine.
